Post Jam - Continuing Development
Thank you to everyone for all of the feedback and support for our game, Steady Store! We are very glad that you enjoyed the game, and we were happy to see its success during the Gamedev.js Jam 2025. Thank you again!
I am starting this devlog because I believe there is room for the game to grow, and I will continue working on it with the goal of releasing a full version on Itch and Steam. There are a few features that I have in mind:
- Implement a scoring system (1-3 stars per level based on the number of moves).
- Double the number of levels, with new slot types and puzzle ideas.
- Implement saving and loading to persist level progress and scores.
- Add Settings and Pause menus.
I'm not sure how successful the full game will be - it may only reach a niche audience at best. However, I still believe this will be a good opportunity and learning experience, so I will keep working on it.
If anyone reads this and has suggestions or feedback, please let me know. Thank you!
(Attaching a couple screenshots of early progress on the scoring system.)
